IDIS MENA signs strategic partnership with Al Sulaiman Security

The new alliance builds upon IDIS growth in the Middle East and North Africa and signals increasing demand for the IDIS Total Solution.

IDIS, the largest south Korean surveillance manufacturer, has announced that it has signed a strategic alliance with Al Sulaiman Security Systems and Services (A4S). The Qatari based company is a well-established Extra Low Voltage (ELV) provider as well as offering total security solutions. A4S prides itself on its technical expertise, a motivated sales team, and highly qualified management personnel, with the company rolling out many high-profile projects across Qatar and beyond.

Under the agreement A4S will offer its customers the IDIS Total Solution, encompassing the IDIS cornerstone of its portfolio, the plug-and-play and full-HD solution, DirectIP that comes with total cost free IDIS Center, an intuitive user interface that is extremely easy for operators to utilise and ensures a low total cost of ownership for end users.

DirectIP offers a wide range of IP cameras and network video recorders (NVRs) suitable for any size or application. In addition, A4S can propose IDIS Solution Suite, enterprise-level video management software (VMS) that is perfect for large and multi-site implementations, DirectCX for customers looking to leveraging existing co-axial cabling as well as a multitude of IDIS innovations and that deliver a superior user experience and low-cost total cost ownership demonstrating “why it’s not the same, it’s IDIS.”

Commenting, Harry Kwon, General Manager, IDIS Middle East and North Africa (MENA), said:

“This is a very strategically important relationship for IDIS and A4S as well as the wider Al Sulaiman Holdings organisation. A4S has excellent local technical support, a strong sales force and a wide reach across Qatar. We already have a number of projects underway and the partnership is also paying dividends when we recently co-exhibited at the Project Qatar conference and exhibition picking up nearly 150 leads and 10 live projects.”

A4S is owned by Al Sulaiman Holdings, and since its inception in 1986, the company has continued its rise in ranks to become a remarkable leading business group in Qatar, operating a host of diversified business units across a spectrum of sectors. The company has businesses that range from jewellery, luxury retail, manufacturing and industrial services, healthcare and education among many others.

Mr Nasser Sulaiman Haider Al Haider, Chairman of Al Sulaiman Holdings added:

“We understood immediately that both IDIS and Al Sulaiman had many synergies including well established high-end vertical market focus in Qatar, a commitment to long term successful partnerships and an innovative vision into the future in terms of surveillance and security technology. We look forward to continuing to build upon our initial success and will strive to exceed our customers’ expectations.”

Alvin R. Meria, General Manager of A4S, said:

“We were instantly impressed with the IDIS Total Solution in terms of high-performance, quality and reliability. Since it’s quick and easy to install and maintain, this protects our margins and reduces costs and business disruption for our customers.”
