Boston Networks: Double NSI Gold and BAFE Certification

Boston Networks: Double NSI Gold and BAFE Certification

Boston Networks, an established and recognised Scottish-based provider of intelligent building solutions and fixed and wireless networks, has received recognition of their commitment to providing security and fire safety services of the highest standard, with the award of two Gold medals of approval from NSI, the National Security Inspectorate – the UK’s leading specialist Certification Body for the security and fire safety sectors.

Boston Networks achieved NSI NACOSS Gold approval – for CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm Systems – and NSI Fire Gold approval – for Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (BAFE scheme SP203-1) in September 2015.

NSI NACOSS Gold and Fire Gold approval (recognised by BAFE, the third party registration organisation for the fire sector) accreditations further demonstrate Boston Networks as a leading player in the Scottish fire and security marketplace, committed to the highest standards of professionalism and quality in the industry, and customer service.

Robert Moore, Fire Systems Director, Boston Networks commented:

“Achieving NSI NACOSS Gold, Fire Gold and BAFE status is testament to the drive and dedication of the Boston Networks team, who have worked endlessly to expand our Fire and Security division and to achieve these prestigious accreditations. Being recognised by the leading industry body will give us an important edge over our competitors and will allow us to continue to differentiate our service offering”.

Richard Jenkins, NSI Chief Executive stated:

“To achieve double NSI Gold approval and BAFE recognition, simultaneously, is a fantastic accomplishment for Boston Networks. They are evidently committed to providing security and fire safety services of the highest order in Scotland, and by seeking independent verification from NSI, are clearly demonstrating this to their clients.”

Jenkins continued

“Going forward, Boston Networks have set in place processes and procedures that will be continually reviewed and improved, through the management of their Quality Management System, which NSI will continue to verify, along with compliance to sector standards, on an ongoing basis. I wish Boston Networks every success for the future.”

NSI GOLD approval is widely recognised as the security and fire sector’s premier badge of trust and is only awarded to companies who consistently meet exacting standards.
