CAME Entrotec have renewed their membership with Secured by Design of the Police Crime Prevention Initiative.

CAME Entrotec manufacturers a variation of door entry and access control security systems suitable for social, private, mixed tenure, sheltered housing, student accommodation and general needs residential properties. Their systems are designed with the equalities act 2010 (was disability discrimination act) at their heart.

CAME Entrotec has just been awarded verification from Alcumus SafeSupplier for demonstrating their ethical, environmental and financial credentials, to help clients assess compliance within their supply chain. SafeSupplier offers a robust, streamlined, consistent and effective supplier on-boarding and management solution, that demonstrates supplier compliance to regulatory requirements, international standards and industry best practice in the supply chain.

Apex is ideal for Low and High Rise developments that have multiple apartments and doors, or where Concierge facilities are required. Helen Phillips, CAME Entrotec said: “As always, CAME Entrotec are extremely pleased to show our support to Secured by Design by maintaining standards of security delivered through our flagship products. Being the first door entry company to receive Secured by Design status, we hope it expresses that our commitment to the scheme initiative is unmistakeable.

“Renewing membership gives us an opportunity to illustrate the steps we take as a manufacturer year on year to ensure that our products meet the specification and how our products help our customers design out crime in their developments. We are incredibly proud to reinforce to the industry our support of Secured by Design”.

Ruari Robertson, Secured by Design, said: “CAME Entrotec have been long standing and avid supporters of SBD and it’s principles. The renewal of their valued membership exemplifies their commitment to the work that is done by SBD, in improving safety and security within the built environment. I look forward to maintaining the excellent relationship that exists between us for many more years.”
