Entatech UK has expanded its sales team with the appointment of two new product specialists, Richard Lowes and Michaela Foreman, to be based at its Telford headquarters.
Richard Lowes has joined the networking and communications team as D-Link Product Specialist. Having moved from Education Account Specialist at BT, where he looked after all of the Education accounts in the Midlands, Lowes holds some strong networking sales experience, and will help to further strengthen the networking team which has recently grown with the addition of Product Specialists for vendors Digium and TP-Link.
As D-Link Specialist, Lowes will undergo a thorough training program to become a product expert in the whole portfolio of D-Link products and appropriate attachment products so he’s best placed to advise Entatech’s resellers, whilst also building Entatech’s customer base.
Michaela Foreman joins the Software and Commodities team as Product Specialist for Startech. With such a broad range of products available to Entatech customers, Foreman will complete product specific training in order to effectively advise customers as to the best products to suit their connectivity needs. Although Foreman is new to the IT industry, she boasts a wealth of account management and field sales experience in previous roles.
Jon Atherton, Entatech Vice President, commented: “The new additions to our sales team will ensure that we’re able to provide our customers with detailed, sound advice on products from our vendors. These two new appointments further demonstrate our commitment to customer service and delivering the most effective solutions for our customer base.
We’re currently in a fantastic position that we’re able to continuously expand our teams – throughout various departments – in order to maintain product expertise across all channels. Our product portfolio is also growing as we sign up new vendors, providing a diverse and broad range of products and technologies, for which dedicated Product Specialists are key to effectively promote and sell them.”
Commenting on his new role, Lowes said: “I’m really pleased to be joining Entatech where I’ll not only be able to utilise the skills I obtained in my previous role, but will also be able to build on these further. I hope to effectively apply my skills and experience to boost the sales within the networking and comms channel, and will be able to advise resellers as to the best possible solutions to suit their needs, whilst contributing towards what is already a great team.
The addition of Lowes and Foreman to Entatech’s sales team continues the distributor’s year of growth which has welcomed at least 10 new staff in the sales and purchasing departments; the launch of their new office in Leatherhead, Surrey, and the expansion of their warehouse.
