Hikvision presents education security solutions at 13th World Education Summit – Mumbai

Hikvision has recently participated in the 13th World Education Summit to showcase its solutions for the education sector. The event was organised by Elets Technomedia in Bombay exhibition Centre, Mumbai on 7-8 December. It was inaugurated by Ms. Meeta Rajivlochan, Principal Secretary & State Project Director, State Project Directorate – RUSA, Government of Maharashtra.
The World Education Summit was based on the concept of ‘Innovation in Education.’ The grand congregation served as a platform for numerous distinguished edu-leaders and stakeholders of the education sector to discuss and deliberate upon latest innovative practices in the education sector.
“We at Hikvision are supporting  ‘School Security’ and ‘Secure Campuses’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)programs in India to  create awareness about the education security issues, which can be addressed effectively through innovative security solutions. World Education Summit was the perfect platform to showcase a wide range of Hikvision security solutions. We also have the latest Broadcasting solution and Face Recognition Terminals for education sector,” said Mr. Ashish P. Dhakan, MD & CEO, Prama Hikvision India Pvt. He further added, “Hikvision’s Smart Solution for Schools and Campuses secures educational facilities with its advanced technology, powerful cameras and critical recording devices.”
Hikvision focused on promoting the Broadcasting Solution, which comprised a PTZ camera with a smart tracking option, this special camera tracks the teacher during the ongoing lecture and zooms in when the teachers writes something on the board. This feed can be streamed live to other classes in the building or even to any part of the world. The live lecture can even be webcasted on the YouTube in real time. It even records the whole lecture to be played or seen later by anyone anytime.
Hikvision also displayed a unique Artificial Intelligence led classroom attendance solution there. This is a one of its kind dual lens Target Capture Camera, which is capable of capturing far away images as well as close-up images with the help of a distant view camera and a tracking PTZ camera – both rolled into one. This series of camera can be used extensively to capture images in High definition scenarios which involve a wide area monitoring range, typically in a classroom scenario where the attendance of students can be taken by the Face Recognition technology. No manual intervention. A mammoth problem of attendance by proxies during classroom examinations can now be resolved with the help of these cameras.
