Identity Theft Prevented with SIP Encrypt from Voip.co.uk

UK telecommunications company, Voip.co.uk, launches its superior SIP Encrypt product to the security market at Cyber Security Expo 2014 to help industry experts prevent targeted attacks from cyber criminals who aim to commit identity and payment card theft, eavesdrop on sensitive information or to instigate a DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack on business phones.

Unlike competitor offerings, Voip.co.uk’s SIP Encrypt solution, is Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliant, in accordance with PCI DSS guidelines, created to minimise payment card data loss, which is becoming an increasing reality.

Voip.co.uk’s wire-tap proof secure SIP Trunk is linked to a SAFE gateway deployed at the customer site to encrypt all voice calls between the customer’s PBX and Voip.co.uk, with a secure platform in place to disable all non-secure protocols for complete peace of mind.

Adam Crisp, CTO of Voip.co.uk, comments: “With wiretapping of voice calls and payment card theft becoming an increased risk, it is vital the security industry embraces the very latest technology to keep sensitive information completely secure. Our SIP trunking is the best SIP service available in the UK and it is a testament to the strength of our in-house network engineering team that we meet PCI standards which competitor offerings lack.”

Voip.co.uk’s SAFE Gateway is designed to function as a Session Boarder Controller (SBC) and is compatible with every major IP PBX including Microsoft Lync, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco BE3000, Avaya Aura, Mitel, Panasonic, Siemens and Asterisk.

Adam Crisp continues: “We also run a comprehensive partner programme, providing support and training for partners and end-users alike and are aiming to recruit more channel partners as a result of the expo. SIP Encrypt means channel partners can offer a fully compliant solution to clients and have enjoy increase revenues as a result.”

The Oxfordshire based telecommunications company has been previously been a finalist of the Security Excellence Awards and SC Magazine Awards and current customers include Westgate Shopping Centre, Absolute Radio and Delta Taxis.

Voip.co.uk recently acquired an 85 per cent share of Danish telecommunications company, Firstcom, and will be launching a unified communications solution later this year.

The company is offering a free site visit, quotation half price installation for all Cyber Security Expo attendees. Offer ends 30th November 2014. Visit stand A16 or contact after the show via www.voip.co.uk
