IDIS products shortlisted for awards

IDIS has achieved notable early success in several of 2022’s top security industry award schemes, with confirmation that the company has been shortlisted in four categories so far.

Reaching the finals of the UK’s most eminent UK awards is continuing to cement IDIS’s position as the largest manufacturer of trusted Korean-made video tech.

IDIS technology has scored a double success in the PSI Premier Awards 2022, with the IDIS AI Box for Retail and IDIS Solution Suite video management software (VMS) confirmed as finalists.

The latest iteration of IDIS Solution Suite (ISS) is the company’s most powerful enterprise-class VMS yet, with new features and service modules designed around increased domain awareness, efficient response coordination and speeding up investigations. All the new features work in harmony with enterprise-class streaming, recording and administration functionality and come with a fair pricing structure – no annual license fees or OPEX burden – to make ISS significantly more affordable than traditional enterprise video management software. As a result, IDIS Solution Suite is now proving itself in a wide range of applications, cutting annual costs for customers and making advanced video management available to more users, including medium-sized organisations and those with single sites.

Also shortlisted, the IDIS AI Box for Retail (DV-1304), now gives retailers all the benefits of AI-powered business and customer intelligence without the usual associated price tag. A 4-channel add-on appliance, it gives users powerful new functionality from either their existing IDIS network cameras and DirectIP NVRs, or new systems. An industry-first dashboard integrates up to 32- channels, cost-free, giving store staff at-a-glance intelligence and making it easy for both local managers and head office to generate reports on day-to-day activity and long term or seasonal trends. It delivers actionable intelligence including queue monitoring, heatmapping, occupancy monitoring and real-time activity data from specified locations.

IDIS Solution Suite (ISS) has been recognised in the finals of the Benchmark Innovation Awards 2022. The awards showcase innovations in the security industry which are particularly targeted at “complex and changing environments”. A public vote to choose the Benchmark Award winners is now open, with results to be announced in September.

IDIS was also nominated as security manufacturer of the year in the Fire & Security Matters Awards and the UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) in 2022. Judging panels were impressed by the way IDIS’s success has been driven by customer-focused innovations that deliver high-performance and real-world benefits.

Over the last 25 years IDIS has grown from being the world’s largest DVR vendor to becoming a leading brand in end-to-end surveillance solutions comprising network cameras, NVRs and a choice of VMS software, with DirectIP as its cornerstone offering. It has won the trust of systems integrators and end-user customers with Korean-made and cyber secure technology and by offering a responsive personal service spanning from pre-sales expertise, proof-of-concepts, to long term technical support and extended warranties.

“We are delighted that IDIS has once again been recognised by independent judges in some of the UK industry’s most important awards,” commented James Min, Managing Director, IDIS Europe. “This achievement is testament to the hard work and focus of the whole IDIS team globally.”
