ISRM Ukraine Special Event

Following the seismic events at the White House on Friday 28th February between President Trump and President Zelensky, the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM) will host a discussion on the geopolitical and security implications of the latest developments concerning all aspects of the Russia-Ukraine war and a possible cease-fire.

Joining this briefing is Andrii Ziuz, former Chief of Staff, National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (2022-24), in conversation with Dr David Rubens, Executive Director of ISRM.

The session will provide an assessment of how these developments may influence Ukraine’s security posture, regional stability, and the broader geopolitical landscape. With tensions continuing to shape international strategic priorities, this discussion will examine the potential shifts in diplomatic engagements, security commitments, and defence policies that may arise from the latest U.S. decisions.
Andrii Ziuz, a key figure in Ukraine’s national security operations as a senior NSDC officer since 2019, will offer insights into Ukraine’s strategic considerations in response to these events. Dr David Rubens, a leading authority in strategic risk and resilience, and who has been closely associated with the NSDC since the outbreak of the war in February 2022, will guide the discussion within the wider context of international security, risk management, and alliance dynamics.

This briefing is essential for policymakers, security professionals, analysts, and government advisors seeking a clear, informed perspective on the evolving situation.
