KBC Networks ThruLink named ‘Best in Network Support Solutions’ at SIA New Product Showcase at ISC West 2017

KBC Networks, a leading manufacturer of transmission equipment for commercial and industrial networks is proud to announce, ThruLink™ brought home top honours as Best in Network Support Solutions in the Security Industry Association (SIA) New Product Showcase (NPS) at ISC West 2017 in Las Vegas, 5-7 April, 2017.

Since its inception in 1979, SIA’s New Product Showcase has been the security industry’s premier awards-based program recognizing the most innovative products, services and solutions in the industry. This year’s NPS program was especially impressive with 122 new products setting a record for entrants in recent years, KBC Networks said.

KBC says it led the way demonstrating how some of its customers have used ThruLink™ in its security solutions to provide both secure and resilient communications. Experienced judges and visitors to the show watched how easily ThruLink™ transmits real-time, encrypted video, voice and data over a 4G network, with a 4G failover solution that keeps the signals flowing during a fixed connection failure.

ThruLink™ devices are employed in banking, transport, security, police and government organizations. ThruLink™ is currently protecting video, voice and financial data from ATM sites; providing secure remote access to confidential information, and is being used to stream live, encrypted video from patrol vehicles.
