Earlier this year, Panasonic announced a new organisation called Panasonic System Communications Company Europe (PSCEU) which integrates twelve business to business product categories plus, project management into one organisation.  With 500 people dedicated to offering customers a single point of contact, the announcement also described how the PSCEU Pro-Camera Solutions business that offers broadcast, medical, security and surveillance camera systems is a key business component for providing solutions.

PSCEU is pleased to announce the next waypoint in the progression of PSCEU Pro-Camera Solutions business solutions which will bring opportunities for Business Intelligence Video Systems enabling real-time insight to improve business across a range of vertical industries.  The Panasonic stand at IFSEC 2012 gave visitors business specific surveillance demonstrations from industries including; retail, banking, public transport and logistics.

The industry specific demos and an entirely new Panasonic concept in surveillance makes it possible for businesses to deploy security video equipment as real-time business intelligence systems delivering results and enhancing commercial success in key areas; improved quality and performance across marketing, operations and customer service and the best security functionality.  Additionally Panasonic is using IFSEC 2012 as a platform to research, collaborate and discuss emerging business intelligence needs with industry experts in a series of round table meetings. The ‘Panasonic Business Intelligence Video Systems Forum’ will open discussion about using new advances in analytics surveillance technologies like gender and age profiling and facial recognition for new commercial applications.

Through the new Panasonic Business Intelligence Video Systems capabilities being launched at IFSEC, Banks could execute more targeted promotions, enhance service and optimise resources whilst in the Logistics sector increased efficiency, greater accuracy and enhanced customer service comes closer to becoming a reality.  In Transportation space optimisation, improved customer experience and safety and security can be achieved with Panasonic IP technology and in Retail, space and resource optimisation, greater promotion response and better customer segmentation takes surveillance beyond security alone.

In an statement about PSCEU’s approach to collaboration with industry experts to identify new business solutions Christian Sokcevic, Director of the new Pro-Camera Solutions division, said: “The history of film and video has been a constant search for better ways of capturing images and by bringing together all of our professional camera technologies under one roof, we are consolidating our knowledge and expertise to support future product innovation and smart camera applications.”

Masaki Arizono, Managing Director of Panasonic System Communications Company Europe, said: “Panasonic products have always helped make our customers’ working lives better. With our new organisation, we also make our customers’ lives simpler and can add more value through services and solutions. No other company in Europe has such a capability in our market.”

The Panasonic stand at IFSEC 2012 is the place to visit to find out more about how Panasonic consultative solutions based approach and how the new Business Intelligence Video Systems could offer your business greater competitive advantage, performance and insight and of course the very best security functionality available.
