The Security Buying Group, the UK agent for Grundig Security and Aimetis VMS and video analytics distributor, has appointed Paul Scott as technical manager.
“Paul brings IP CCTV, network design and integrated security system expertise,” stated Steve Jones, sales director of the Security Buying Group. “He has 25 years of experience in engineering, technical support and product management roles and has worked for companies like DM, Honeywell and Sensormatic.”
“Paul will help support our IP CCTV products and services. He will also train and support customers using Aimetis Video Management Software and Video Analytics. This includes helping customers with system design, pre-configuration and commissioning services.
“This investment by the company reinforces our goal of supplying high quality security products to UK installers, with equally high-quality engineering support services for those products.”
Security Buying Group’s IP CCTV pre-configuration service ensures that IP addresses for cameras and NVRs are set up before delivery and that the NVRs view all network cameras at specified frame rates. The service is usually carried out off-site, but can be done in-situ along with a system commissioning service.
Security Buying Group now provides the engineering services its customers value most, whilst still offering very competitive pricing on products. The system design and support also includes all HD-SDI and analogue ranges.
