inMotion Ltd ramping production of 10 new Seawolf-powered cameras with over 100 configurations.

Pixim Inc., a leading provider of imaging chips for enterprise security cameras, announced that inMotion Ltd has entered mass production on eight security camera models and two public view monitors (PVMs) based on Pixim’s new Seawolf chip. The cameras will be on display during ISC West, April 6-8, 2011 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The inMotion cameras come in various form factors—box, ATM, bullet, and dome configurations—including the in10, the world’s smallest Seawolf-powered box camera, and the in40, the world’s smallest Seawolf vandal dome.

Based on Seawolf, inMotion’s customers now have access to cameras with the industry’s proven best wide dynamic range, industry-leading 690 HTVL effective resolution, and the ability to render useable color pictures with just 0.1 lux at a full 30 frames per second.

“ISC West is North America’s premier security conference and is an ideal launching pad for inMotion’s new technologies and solutions,” explains Kai Leuze, chief executive officer for inMotion. “We are excited to share with our customers the advantages of our Seawolf-based camera lines which will enable them to capture superior video.”

“inMotion is taking the strengths of Pixim’s Seawolf chip and creating cameras in enough form factors to meet the requirements of a broad set of video security end users—whether the customer is a bank looking for the best ATM camera or a retailer needing an unobtrusive box or dome camera,” says John Monti, Pixim’s vice president of marketing and business development.

About Pixim
Pixim Inc. has developed unique imaging technology that revolutionizes the way video cameras capture and process images. Unlike traditional image capture technologies, where each pixel cannot adjust to highlights and lowlights in the same scene, Pixim’s patented Digital Pixel System® technology empowers hundreds of thousands of pixels to act like individual cameras constantly self-adjusting. This all-digital system enables Pixim-powered cameras to efficiently capture the whole picture, regardless of lighting condition or application – thus securing the highest resolution, natural color and clarity, while automatically eliminating image-compromising visual noise (e.g., glare, reflections). The result is more than superb image quality; it is accurate, actionable information that gives users the strength of certainty.

Pixim chips are incorporated into over a million security cameras installed in more than 100 countries worldwide. Visit www.pixim.com/cameras for a complete listing of Pixim-based cameras.
