QCIC celebrates its 15th Birthday

Global security engineering firm celebrates fifteen years in business demonstrating exponential growth

QCIC, a global security engineering firm, has completed more than 2000 projects in over 100 countries since its inception in 2007. Fifteen years later it continues to go from strength to strength.

In this time QCIC has built a formidable global reputation for supplying innovative specialist security design and advisory services. Though the company was born out of design services, the need for consistency across all phases of security development and maintenance led to the roll-out of their ‘Design, Build, Run’ methodology. This unique end-to-end support model enables QCIC to advise and manage all aspects of building security, from design and oversight at installation stage to operational security management and technology upgrades. As an industry leader, QCIC has continued to innovate and develop technological solutions throughout the past decade and a half, which has no doubt contributed to their global success.

Yet despite its position in the industry, the award-winning firm continues to seek out new challenges, technology and locations. In 2019 the London-headquartered business established its first African hub in Cape Town, South Africa, adding to its portfolio of teams based in Hong Kong and New York. Since then, the newest hub has grown exponentially and, with their global presence, QCIC is able to provide full time zone coverage through a 365/24/7 “always on” support network to their clients.

“The trick is never to become complacent,” says founder Mark Rowan, who was named as one of the IFSEC Global Influencers in Security and Fire for 2021. “Our clients’ needs are always our first priority, which forces us to evolve as the world and their specific needs change. At QCIC that evolution will always go hand in hand with delivering service excellence.”

Further expansion is certainly in the company’s plans in the foreseeable future, as well as growing into new sectors and achieving their Pledge to Net Zero. Sustainability is at the heart of everything they do at QCIC and a notable milestone was being one of the world’s first carbon neutral security engineering companies.

QCIC’s dedication to security and their positioning statement, ‘Security Assured’, has resulted in 15 years of tailored security solutions and a global reputation for quality in the security industry. “I’m thankful to everyone who has been on this journey with us, especially our clients and staff,” says Rowan. “Our people are the most knowledgeable and experienced in the field, which makes it no surprise that we have reached this most gratifying milestone. I have no doubt that there are still many more years to come.”
