RX4 Multi Technology Reader featuring Wiegand and OSDP

Third Millennium have announced their new product – the RX4 Multi Technology Reader, reportedly ideal for surface mounting directly to most plain wall finishes.
According to the manufacturer, the reader has a clean aesthetic and features and RGB LED that can be used for many applications, such as colour access levels, migration status or mood lighting. The unit is moulded using tough polycarbonate/ABS plastic and includes a shadow line backplate, a subtle design mechanism that makes the reader appear to float against the wall.
It also reportedly supports a wide variety of output formats, allowing it to be in most access control and related applications such as time-and-attendance and cashless vending. The combination of an integral speaker, RGB LED, three control inputs and a variety of LED/buzzer and external control options, provide a flexible platform to give the right user interface configuration for your project.
