SANS will be hosting two of its most popular courses in Dublin from June 8th-13th at the Hilton Doubletree’s Morrison Hotel. SANS Dublin 2015 offers two six day courses with Tim Garcia leading SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style and Christian Prickaerts leading FOR408: Windows Forensic Analysis.
SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style helps attendees to learn the most effective steps to prevent attacks and detect adversaries with actionable techniques that can be directly applied when students return back to work. The hands-on course teaches tips and tricks from the experts that help information professionals win the battle against the wide range of cyber adversaries’ intent on harming IT environments.
FOR408: Windows Forensic Analysis focuses on building in-depth digital forensics knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating systems. The course aims to develop key knowledge around forensic capabilities and artefacts as a core component of information security. The course also teaches how to recover, analyse, and authenticate forensic data on Windows systems. In addition, students will learn how to track detailed user activity on a network and how to organise findings for use in incident response, internal investigations, and civil/criminal litigation.
Registration has opened and SANS is offering discounts for students that register and pay prior to April 29th and for larger groups. For more information, please visit www.sans.org/dublin-2015.
