Securi-Guard Fire and Security partners with Hochiki Europe

Securi-Guard Fire and Security has announced a new professional partnership with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of life safety systems
Hochiki Europe (UK) Ltd has selected the South West’s largest independent fire and security specialist to be one of its approved Systems Partners in the region.
The partnership means Securi-Guard can give both existing and new clients across the South West access to a wide range of life safety equipment including fire detection and emergency lighting system solutions suitable for numerous commercial and industrial applications.
Bob Truesdale, Fire and Security Systems Manager at Plymouth-based Securi-Guard, said the company is seeking to forge a powerful alliance with a globally respected brand in the fire protection market.

“Hochiki has a long established reputation in the industry for offering quality fire detection solutions, backed by a wealth of both experience and expertise. I am equally delighted that our new partners recognise Securi-Guard’s standing in this highly competitive sector and have shown confidence in our ability to secure new sales opportunities for their products.
“We look forward to a highly successful and mutually beneficial partnership with the team at Hochiki.”

Paul Adams, Hochiki Europe’s Marketing Manager, concluded, “The Systems Partners Programme demonstrates a clear desire to support our valued installer partners and provide benefits to those who have shown a commitment to using our products.
“We intend to create strong, individual relationships with every Systems Partner and we are confident that Securi-Guard will go from strength-to-strength with the additional support and resources on offer.’

With a heritage dating back almost 100 years, the Hochiki Corporation was founded in Tokyo in 1918 and today, in Japan, it employs a total of 1,300 staff via three manufacturing plants, 35 sales offices and 13 subsidiaries.
An international market leader in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems, Hochiki currently produces in excess of three million fire detection units a year in Japan. The company also produces fire extinguishing, security and cable television systems.
In the 60s and 70s, the company expanded its geographical areas of operation into both America and Europe, where it has invested heavily via a purpose built production facility and technical support centre in Gillingham, Kent. In 2012 it established a sales and support office in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates followed by another in Gurgaon, India in 2015.
Securi-Guard will be one of Hochiki’s key partners in the UK where it currently builds in excess of 500,000 detectors and ancillary products a year that all fully comply with the very latest regulations and standards.
