Sepura commits to Nordic region with appointment of new business development manager

Sepura has added Roland Pettersson to the Sales team as Business Development Manager for Scandinavia. Roland has a long history of selling communications technology into the public safety services, most recently with CeoTronics, where he established a network of key contacts within the PMR market to support sales growth.
Previously Roland was Sales Director for the Followit group, specialising in GPS tracking technology used in markets with specific outdoor requirements. In this role he was instrumental in expanding sales beyond his home region into France, Italy and Germany.
“The position at Sepura is an amazing opportunity to work with long established, valued partners in the Nordics, supporting our users in the public safety and commercial markets with market leading critical communications technology,” said Roland. “I have seen first-hand the connection between Sepura and their partners with their detailed understanding of the local market and I can’t wait to get involved in the challenges ahead.”
Gary Maughan, Regional Director for Northern Europe at Sepura, added: “Roland has a track record in selling complex PMR technology into the Nordic public safety market. He has built an impressive track record in growing sales whilst working closely with the user to ensure that the product is best suited for their needs. We look forward to working with Roland to further support users in this key region, where Sepura is already the market leader, and continuing to develop products that enhance organisations’ critical communications.”
