Squire achieve SBD Connected Device accreditation

Squire have become one of the first companies to achieve the Secured by Design (SBD) Secure Connected Device accreditation, with three of their products achieving the required standard for both their physical and cyber security attributes.

The Squire name has been at the forefront of lock making since 1780 with a great British history carried down through eight generations. Combining heritage with innovation, Squire is widely recognised for making the toughest locks in the world, including advanced lock designs for homes, businesses, leisure, bicycle and motorcycle markets.

A wide range of Squire’s products have achieved the Police Preferred Specification including bicycle security products, garage door protectors and vehicular roller shutter doors, locks and hardware, safes and secure enclosures and motorcycle security. Squire’s Inigma Diamond BL1 D Lock, Inigma FL1 Folding Lock & Inigma IC1 Integrated Chain Lock have now achieved the SBD Secure Connected Device accreditation.

The Inigma Diamond BL1 D Lock is a super-secure digital D-lock, delivering innovative technology with uncompromising toughness. A smartphone operated D-lock, it pairs with iOS and Android devices and offers keyless locking via the Inigma app, with maximum-security military grade AES-256 bit encryption and Sold Secure Diamond Bicycle accreditation.

The Inigma FL1 Folding Lock is a smartphone operated folding bicycle lock.  Offering super secure electronic security encrypted to AES-256 bit encryption, it pairs with iOS and Android devices. With a total length of 800mm, the lightweight aluminium lock body with hardened steel casing is Sold Secure Bronze Bicycle accredited.

The Inigma IC1 Integrated Chain Lock is a Bluetooth integrated chain lock. Offering super secure electronic security encrypted to AES-256 bit encryption, it pairs with iOS and Android devices. With a total length of 800mm, the lightweight aluminium lock body with hardened steel casing is Sold Secure Bronze Bicycle accredited.
