Tecton Wide-View in the Safer Travel Command Centre

CCTV Image 52 - Centro 2In the Summer 2013 issue of CCTV Image we went inside the Safer Travel Command Centre in Birmingham to speak to Safer Travel manager, Mark Babington. The Partnership is a collaborative approach by West Midlands Police, British Transport Police and the West Midlands Transport Executive (Centre) aimed at combatting crime on public transport.

The accompanying System Profile should have included that the screen displays in the CCTV control centre were driven by the Tecton Wide-View widescreen HD display controller. Wide-View displays up to 12 cameras one a 50-inch wide screen HD display and a single HDMI cable connects the box to the screen.
