Canon Europe, world leader in imaging solutions, today announces the launch of two new low light network security cameras. Both the indoor pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ); VB-M50B, and indoor fixed dome; VB-H651V, include new features that help to ensure high quality images, even in challenging low light conditions. These new cameras are suited for a range of scenarios requiring round-the-clock surveillance, including critical infrastructure facilities, retail, commercial buildings and urban surveillance.
Canon’s network security cameras improve the safety and security of FC Dordrecht fans with more accurate monitoring.
Video surveillance is essential in retail, successfully helping prevent theft and ensuring the safety of staff and customers – but with more retailers switching over to IP cameras from analogue, there’s now huge potential to benefit from retail analytics, a multi-million dollar industry in its own right, by adding extra capabilities to traditional surveillance solutions.
Wavestore will be supporting Canon at SICUR 2016, providing opportunity for both companies to demonstrate how deep integration between their respective camera and open platform Video Management Software (VMS) solutions can unlock the full potential of new and existing security systems.
