Teleste Corporation, a leading provider of video and broadband technologies and related services, will introduce its new AC1500 and AC2500 amplifiers for ultimate capacity enhancement with 1.2 GHz upstream transmission at ANGA COM 2014. ANGA COM 2014 takes place 20-22 May in Cologne, Germany. Teleste welcomes you to learn more and visit us at stand E19 in hall 10.2.
Consumer demand for faster broadband connections is constantly increasing and operators need to invest in more network capacity to keep up with the competition for customers. Supporting capacities of 10 Gbit/s downstream and 1Gbit/s upstream, the upcoming DOCSIS 3.1 standard will allow operators to greatly enhance their networks’ performance. However, despite growing capacities, broadband services are far too often disrupted by noise that degrades the quality of services and irritates end-users. To increase customer satisfaction and reduce churn, it is of great advantage to operators if they can control service distruptions and block ingress noise from spreading around their networks.
Teleste’s new AC1500 distribution and A2500 distribution trunk amplifiers take full advantage of the DOCSIS 3.1 standard. They ensure that the downstream frequency band reaches up to 1.2 GHz and the upstream is easily upgradable to 200 MHz. Both amplifiers can be equipped with Teleste’s Remote Ingress Switching (RIS) system that allows low-cost ingress detection and countermeasures at the headend. For a broader range of management features, the amplifiers can also be equipped with intelligent transponders with comprehensive measuring capabilities, and programmable signal and ingress monitoring.
