UK Pavilion exhibition space available for IFSEC Southeast Asia
The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is encouraging UK companies to take advantage of the many benefits that exhibiting as part of the UK Pavilion at IFSEC Southeast Asia brings.
As an Approved Trade Organisation for the security sector, the BSIA organises a number of UK Pavilions at the industry’s largest overseas events every year. With little over six months to go until the fourth edition of IFSEC Southeast Asia gets underway, the BSIA is now calling for exhibitors to book their space in the UK Pavilion.
Taking place over the 7 – 9 September 2016 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia, IFSEC Southeast Asia is expected to attract over 10,000 international visitors keen to access the latest security solutions.
Exhibiting as part of a UK Pavilion brings many benefits which ultimately helps UK exhibitors to enjoy a more successful, stress-free and profitable exhibition. As part of a UK Pavilion, UK exporters promote their products and services alongside each other at a reduced cost, and benefit from being located in a prime, central location on the show floor.
Moreover, exporters benefit from exhibiting as part of the ‘Great Britain brand’ which signifies quality, integrity and innovation, key elements that the UK’s security industry is renowned for the world over.
Membership and Export Services Manager at the BSIA, Daren Wood, explains:
“As well as benefiting from prime stand space and the opportunity to exhibit under the ‘Great Britain brand’, companies exhibiting as part of the UK Pavilion also gain access to a range of top class support from the BSIA.
“The BSIA takes the strain out of booking stand space, acting as the liaison between exhibitors and the show organisers. We provide a complete ‘solution’, including stand design, stand construction and logistic support with the shipment of goods and products. Throughout the show, the BSIA will have representatives on hand to deal with any technical issues so that exhibitors can concentrate on the things that matter.”
In addition, the BSIA works with show organisers to promote the pavilion and the companies exhibiting within it, ensuring that visitors to the show are aware of the range of UK companies present.
Peter Jarvis, Senior Executive VP of Storm Interface, exhibited as part of a UK Pavilion and believes that this contributed to a successful show:
“Being part of the UK Pavilion was a very positive experience. With the logistics of stand construction and provision of services being largely handled by the BSIA, we were able to concentrate on the promotional and sales activities required to make our trade show presence as productive as it could be. We were really impressed with the level of support provided by the BSIA.”
Finally, the BSIA can help companies to access the UKTI’s TAP funding programme, which can offset an exhibitor’s costs by up to £2,500.
Stand space in the UK Pavilion at IFSEC South East Asia will be available to book until Friday 17th June. Companies wishing to take advantage of these benefits should contact Daren Wood by emailing d.wood@bsia.co.uk at their earliest convenience to avoid disappointment.
