The UNION keyULTRA™ master key system is now available as a self-assembly product, enabling the UNION dealer network to provide enhanced service and delivery to customers.
UNION’s KeyULTRA™ master key system possesses one of the longest patents on the market, lasting until 2028. This patent protects both the key and cylinder assembly, with DuraPIN™ technology.
The product also boasts enhanced features including the highest key related security, as per BS EN 1303:2005, along with resistance to bumping, drilling, picking and plug extraction. KeyULTRA™ is also approved for use on 60-minute fire doors in accordance with BS EN 1634-1.
KeyULTRA™ is made to be strong and durable, utilising self-lubricating materials, and has been successfully tested to over half a million cycles, guaranteeing performance. The system employs a strong durable key, with an easy to grip, oversized key bow to facilitate product use.
Brett Adderley, Product Manager for UNION, said:
“The entire UNION KeyULTRA™ range will be available to registered dealers, in sub-assembled format. Sub-assembled products will require only pinning to complete, making the system very easy to assemble, and producing significant cost and timesaving benefits.
“Product training, provided at the ASSA ABLOY Academy, will enable dealers to produce additional keys and all cylinder variants to customer requirements at their own premises.”
UNION will offer assistance in the design of master key systems to suit end user requirements. All master key calculations will be supplied free of charge. These will be provided as straight-forward, easy to use instructions, enabling dealers to easily manufacture product.
