The terminals can authenticate faces, fingerprint, and various cards, featuring deep learning algorithms. Users can authenticate faces in various angles and up to 3m distance. Liveness detection, and anti-spoofing functions are also provided. Another big feature is that unregistered users can register themselves onsite by entering their phone numbers when they are trying to enter places like malls or marts, and the registered phone numbers used as a credential for later visits.

The next-generation IRIS recognition system (UBio-X Iris) is worthy of attention. This device is equipped with a high-performance iris recognition algorithm. This device can authenticate 40,000 templates within 1 second. Auto tilting camera finds iris even at a distance of up to 50cm and authenticates users regardless the height of users (120cm ~ 200cm)

Both face and iris recognition system were developed and manufactured by pure Korean technology.

An official from UNIONCOMMUNITY said, “As the status of the K(Korean)-brand has risen along with the success of K(Korean)-Quarantine, we expect it to be an important venue to promote our products based on our own Korean technology. Also, we expect to build a foothold to win large-scale security projects in the Americas based on the preceded sales that we have built for a long time with competitive technology and products, as a result we expect to increase our market share in the Americas and Europe in the future.”
