Wavestore has further strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Phil Ewers as Business Development Manager.

Phil is a seasoned sales professional who, prior to joining Wavestore, was Senior Business Manager for Counting Solutions Ltd where he played a key role in the company’s successful bid to supply Westfield London shopping centre with Europe’s largest people counting solution. He has also worked for APT Headcount Systems Ltd and Footfall Ltd where he was involved in managing complex projects throughout the UK, mainland Europe and the Middle East.

Reporting to Wavestore’s Director, Chris Williams, Phil will work alongside other members of the sales team to identify opportunities for Wavestore’s customers to take advantage of the benefits of video analytics and other advanced technologies, as part of an integrated video management solution.

“We are very pleased to have been able to recruit Phil to help us capitalise on the sales potential for our widely respected people counting solutions, which have been integrated with our open platform VMS,” said Chris Williams. “By embracing an open platform philosophy, we have been able to work closely with third party technology partners to offer a comprehensive solution which can include, for example, video analytics, biometric facial recognition solutions, license plate recognition, people counting, and traffic monitoring systems, as well as many other kinds of security and management information systems.”
