What to expect at IFSEC International 2022

IFSEC International will be taking place between 17-19 May 2022 at London’s ExCel at the West entrance, Custom House DLR

After a difficult year, many events were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Finally, with vaccines rolling out the world is beginning to open up. People can connect and network again as in-person events come back. Virtual events kept businesses and connections alive when people were unable to gather, but nothing beats being able to network face-to-face. IFSEC took place as a virtual event in 2021, known as IFSEC Connect but organisers are excited for the event to finally return in-person.

IFSEC International is an opportunity to network and do business with the entire security buying chain, discover solutions and see real products put to the test.

The event caters for the entire security supply chain, including manufacturer/vendors, distributors, installer/integrators, consultant/specifiers and end-users such as security directors and managers.

As usual, the event will take place alongside FIREX International (fire safety), Safety & Health Expo, Intelligent Buildings Europe, Workplace Wellbeing Show and Facilities Show (facilities management). Registration is free and attendees will benefit from access to content and networking opportunities from all the events.

IFSEC, part of the Informa Markets portfolio of events, will be organised in accordance with Informa’s AllSecure health and safety standard. Informa has developed a detailed set of enhanced measures to provide the highest levels of hygiene and safety at its events. When you join the event, you can expect to see that health and safety is a priority, and that a range of measures are in place to ensure everyone involved is able to enjoy a safe, hygienic, productive and high-quality organised event experience.

”IFSEC has been transforming over the years. It is a must-attend show for any stakeholder in physical and converged security”, Sarb Sembhi, CTO & CISO, Virtually Informed.

The British Security Industry Association at IFSEC

IFSEC celebrates its 25-year partnership with the British Security Industry Association (BSIA).

The BSIA will once again have a major presence on the show floor as members are given the opportunity to catch up with colleagues, meet with customers and entertain guests. It’s also a prime location for the BSIA to showcase its formidable strengths and influence in the UK and global sectors, and encourage new members to join and become part of the UK’s premier security industry trade association.

Mike Reddington, CEO at BSIA comments, “We are really looking forward to playing a pivotal role in the return of IFSEC in May 2022 which is already shaping up to be a major diary date for the security industry after this enforced two-year gap. We’ve been in constant dialogue with IFSEC throughout this period, developing brand new initiatives in areas such as training and professional development which have directly benefitted our members.’’

Simon Banks, Chair at the BSIA adds: “The BSIA is delighted to be maintaining its long-standing partnership with IFSEC International, the industry’s premier event, which provides us with a dynamic platform to engage with our members, government, export partners and wider industry stakeholders.

“IFSEC has been exclusively supporting BSIA for over 25 years and we’re delighted to see the show back in May 2022 because there has probably never been a more important time for all of us to get back together and back to business.’’
