Zscaler announces expansion of partner ecosystem

Zscaler, the leading cloud security company, announced an expansion of its open partner ecosystem to include Cloud Application Security Brokers (CASB) and is pleased to announce that CipherCloud, CloudLock and Skyhigh Networks are now partners of Zscaler.

The changing IT landscape brought on by the shift of applications from the data center to the cloud and the increased access through mobile devices introduces new threats that go undetected by appliances deployed in the data center. Enterprises have to rethink their traditional appliance-centric castle-and-moat security architectures while continuing to provide their users with access to cloud applications and services. Zscaler’s cloud security platform provides full inline threat protection to guard against cyber attacks, prevent data leakage and allow safe enablement of cloud applications by employees.

Punit Minocha, vice president of business development, Zscaler said:

“Zscaler’s platform enables companies to secure, simplify and transform their IT infrastructure into a cloud-enabled enterprise. It does so by bringing together an ecosystem of complementary solutions with Zscaler’s cloud security platform. Our partnership with the leading CASB vendors makes available a pre-integrated solution that provides comprehensive visibility, control and protection for cloud services.”

CipherCloud

Dev Ghoshal, senior vice president of global alliances, CipherCloud said:

“We’re pleased to join forces with Zscaler to deliver best-of-breed cloud security and analytics for our enterprise customer base. The rise of shadow IT, the unending litany of breaches and tighter data privacy regulations compel organizations to extend data controls into the cloud applications in use by employees. As a pioneer in CASB, and the only player with FIPS 140-2 validation, CipherCloud is pleased to make our award-winning technologies readily available to Zscaler’s customers and resellers.”

CloudLock

Gil Zimmermann, CEO and co-founder, CloudLock said:

“Zscaler and CloudLock share a common vision of a cloud-native, SaaS-centric cybersecurity world that creates a safe and productive environment for any user. Our partnership with Zscaler is a key initiative to bring full-scale cloud security to our mutual customers and is just the beginning of the innovative projects we have planned together.”

Nathan McBride, CIO and senior vice president of innovation architects, AMAG Pharmaceuticals said:

“I’m excited to see Zscaler and CloudLock as two leaders in cloud security bringing application risk assessment to a broader audience and increasing both employee awareness and self-support.”

Skyhigh Networks

Chris Cesio, vice president of business development, Skyhigh Networks said:

“With over 500 customers, Skyhigh is a leader in the CASB market. The partnership between Skyhigh and Zscaler provides the best of breed in cloud security technologies.”
