Brian Sims, former editor of Security Management Today and currently Media Solutions Manager at UBM Live, will be leaving UBM to join Pro-Activ publications as editor of Risk UK.
Risk UK is a monthly security and fire management publication, addressing all aspects of risk including security, fire, safety and business continuity.
Commenting on the appointment, Mark Quittenton, MD of Pro-Activ Publications, said: “Brian is a popular figure in the security industry and we are very happy to announce that he is joining the team. He is a perfect fit for Risk UK and I am sure that his experience and industry knowledge will help with the continued development of the magazine over the coming years.”
Sims will complete his role at UBM by organising and hosting much of the seminar content for IFSEC International before joining Pro-Activ on 1 July.
