UTC Fire and Security has released additional details of the major product launches planned for IFSEC, to be unveiled on its stand C90, Hall 4.
The new introductions will include the Aritech wireless PIRcam sensor, a combined camera-Passive Infrared (PIR) unit with superior features intended to make visual verification systems much easier to design and install.
“With technology that verifies as well as detects, housed in a neat single unit, the PIRcam is a very attractive new option for both commercial and residential customers,” said Mark Staples, UTC’s Pre-Sales Manager for the UK.
Also in the intruder range, the Advisor Advanced intruder panels now come with new end-user Apps.
And UTC will showcase a complete suite of perimeter detection products, ranging from acoustic cable technology to Active Infrared (AIR) beam devices.
Video solutions being demonstrated on the stand will includethe latest in high definition cameras, a set of new launch DVRs and NVRs,and a complete offering of transmission products.
The highlight in video, however, will be the uniquely powerful TruVision Navigator, a single, backwards-compatible software solution which now allows users to configure and manage the full suite of UTC video products while protecting their investment into the future.
Top billing is the new fully integrated software management system, the 8600 SMS. This offers users the opportunity to manage their intruder, fire, access control and video all through one powerful, intuitive package.
Meanwhile for critical risk applications such as data centres and storage facilities, a new line of advanced aspirated air detection devicesnow provides the earliest possible warning of potential fires.
Finally, a particularly important launch in the fire market will be UTC’s new end-to-end wireless solution which makes a great addition to the best-selling Ziton range.
“With all these exciting developments in intruder, CCTV, integration, access control and fire, 2013 will be a landmark IFSEC for UTC,” confirms Mark Staples. “We’re looking forward to demonstrating these new products to system planners and integrators on our stand.”
