Gallagher Security expands footprint in the Middle East

Gallagher Security is strengthening its foothold in the Middle East with the appointment of three new staff members joining their Lebanon and Dubai-based teams.

Malik Mohammad AlKanawati and Khaled M. El Zaatari have joined the team as Technical Support Engineers, based in Lebanon, while Samar Fawaz has stepped into the role of Middle East Marketing Manager from the company’s office in Dubai.

Malik brings to the role extensive technical knowledge, customer support and problem-solving experience, and in his previous role, was responsible for supporting an End User network of more than 500 customers.

Of his new role, Malik says, “I’m excited to be joining the Gallagher team and using my skill set to contribute to a company dedicated to excellence and building strong, lasting relationships with our customers. I am committed to learning and adapting to meet the needs of our customers across the Middle East, providing the best customer experience possible.”

Also newly appointed to the role of Technical Support Engineer, Khaled M. El Zaatari, brings to the Gallagher Middle East team a combination of technical expertise and business acumen, with a degree in Mechatronics Engineering and an MBA.

Of his appointment, Khaled says, “I’m proud to be joining the Gallagher Middle East team and am looking forward to providing meaningful opportunities and contributing towards a positive impact on the safety and efficiency of environments globally.”

Strengthening the Middle East’s marketing efforts is Samar Fawaz, who moved into the role of regional Marketing Manager in March, after nine years as the Gallagher Security Middle East, Events Coordinator.

Samar was instrumental in the successful delivery of the Gallagher Security Workshop held in Riyadh in May which attracted more than 90 Technology Partners, Channel Partners, and End Users from across the region where they discussed the future of security technology, shared insights and had the opportunity to network with other industry professionals.

“As we navigate a period of significant growth in region, I am dedicated to overseeing the expansion requirements to ensure a smooth transition, while facilitating the opportunities ahead. I look forward to contributing to the continued success of Gallagher Security Middle East,” says Samar.

Gallagher Security, CEO – Middle East and North Africa, Bilal Chehime says, “Hiring a new team of talented individuals marks a pivotal step in our journey. We are confident that they will drive significant advancements in the company, propelling our business to unprecedented heights. Together, we are poised to achieve our ambitious goals and elevate Gallagher Security Middle East to the next level.”

Gallagher Security has built a strong presence in the Middle East over the past 18 years, securing more than 31,000 doors, protecting over 200km of perimeter for over 750 customers across 14 different countries.

The company currently has a team of 14, with offices in Dubai and Lebanon and is expanding its footprint further, with the opening of a third office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia later this year.
