The Dublin Port chooses TDS Time & Attendance Solution

The Dublin Port has decided to implement tdsworkforce (Time &
Attendance Solution) in order to meet their security and personnel
recording requirements in a cost effective and efficient fashion.

Located on either side of the River Liffey in Dublin, the Dublin Port is a sea port
with both historical and contemporary economic importance with roughly two
thirds of the Republic of Ireland’s port traffic going through the port. The main
service offered by the Dublin Port is freight handling, with a wide range of
vessels, from large container carriers to small diesel lighters, visiting daily.

Dublin Port selected the leading Kaba B-Eco Device; a terminal which is an
ideal entry-level or workstation terminal. The B-Eco Device holds a
comprehensive set of functionality with a reasonable price level. It guarantees a
convenient and reliable business data collection with minimum effort and
maximal saving potential.

TDS set the standard for high-quality time and enterprise data recording
products with tdsworkforce solution. These systems create transparency,
enhance production processes and raise productivity with the task of data
collection and recording for an organisation.

A key requirement for the Dublin Port was the capability of TDS solutions
integrating with current solutions already in place within the facility. The Dublin
Port currently has HID Technology in use on-site and therefore it was an
important factor for the client ensuring integration of the solution was available.
Therefore the TDS solution will be active and used within the facility through the
already existing cards deployed throughout the port, therefore eliminating the
task of having to re-issue new ID cards to personnel.

This contract further strengthens TDS’ position as a premium provider of cutting
edge Time & Attendance solutions.
