Free security event returns to Manchester on September 29th
The relaunched Manchester security event will be returning to the city on 29th September, 2016 at St Ann’s Church, St Ann’s Street, Manchester, M2 7LF.
The new format will involve an informative breakfast seminar, opened by Assistant Chief Constable Garry Shewan QPM and addressed by senior police and security industry professionals.
The key aim of the event is to support businesses in the North West by providing vital information that will help them protect their people and property from crime and terrorism.
Paul King, Chair of Manchester City Centre Crime Prevention Panel comments:
“This event is a must for anyone concerned about security, and will address current issues surrounding terrorism. It will provide advice on maximising vigilance, mitigating risks and taking all appropriate actions in the event of any potential incident.”
The event is free to attend and organised by Manchester City Centre Crime Prevention Panel with the support of Greater Manchester Police, Manchester City Council and Atmaana Business Consulting.
SelectaDNA and GJD are sponsoring the event and their crime prevention products will be on display at the event.
Doors open at 08:00, refreshments and breakfast snacks will be provided, and there will be opportunities to network before and after the event which is due to end around 11:00.
