Antrica launches new HDMI H.265 battery and USB-powered streaming video encoders

Antrica, a worldwide supplier of H.265 & H.264 video encoding and streaming solutions, has unveiled the new range of H.265 video encoders – including a mini battery-powered HDMI encoder.

The new range of H.265 video encoders features 2 key products in the range are Antrica’s first step into the H.265 market offering RTSP RTMP HTTP and MPEG-TS Streaming.

The new H.265 range has been introduced for customers who need lower bit rate video transfer over LAN WAN or RF 4G networks whilst maintaining high quality video. The key selling point of these new products is their affordability being a low-cost H.265 encoder range – which also have the flexibility to encode in either H.264 or H.265 using the most popular input connection HDMI (and DVI with an adapter).

The first encoder is the ANT-2210 a mini H.265 or H.264 HDMI 1080P60 HD video encoder with both primary and secondary H.265 or H.264 streams.

This ANT-2210 can be powered using the internal (USB charged) lithium battery for up to 3hrs of cordless encoding. Another advantage is that it is very small 102 x 71 x 25 mm, so it can be utilized in applications where space is limited. The input connection is a single HDMI , which can be converted to DVI with an adapter, the HDMI supports embedded audio and there is also an analogue stereo audio jack.

The second encoder is the ANT-2200 H.265 or H.264 HDMI Input / Output 1080P60 HD video encoder with both a primary and secondary H.265 or H.264 stream.

The input / output connections are HDMI which can be converted to DVI with an adapter, the HDMI supports embedded audio and there is also an analogue stereo jack. This affordable encoder gives you the option of looping the HDMI connection of a PC or any other video equipment through the encoder and back into the display/monitor.

These fantastic additions to the existing range of H.264 video encoders expands Antricas influence into the video encoding market.
