CNL Software appoints Daniel Earwicker

CNL Software appoints Daniel Earwicker to Chief Software Architect. Earwicker will be responsible for identifying the architectural direction for CNL Software’s IPSecurityCenter™ PSIM solution as well as the day-to-day management and support of company’s development team.

A full-stack developer with more than 20 years commercial experience, Daniel is an accomplished architect and builder of complete software products across Windows and UNIX, native C/C++, Java, .NET, databases and the modern Web platform. A common theme during his career is the ability to adapt to new technologies as they emerge and fully exploit them to enhance product capabilities, whether by retrofitting them into existing products or by growing completely new ones.

“It’s great to have Daniel join CNL Software at such an exciting time of growth for the company,” says Darren Atkinson, CTO at CNL Software.

“I worked with Daniel at FormScape, where he built the first version of the company’s flagship Document Output Management (DOM) product and steered subsequent product innovation until acquisition. Knowing Daniel, I am confident that his leadership of our development team will help accelerate CNL Software’s delivery of its market leading vision for IPSecurityCenter as the Physical Security industry struggles to stay ahead of the disruptive technologies impacting their customers.”

“The team at CNL Software have already developed an excellent PSIM solution, which has a strong customer base and great track record”, says Daniel Earwicker. “I look forward to working with them to build on the existing strengths of IPSecurityCenter – extending its reach into new technologies and leveraging the huge advantages of the IoT.”
