HKC announces new wireless fogging integration

HKC Security has launched the RF-FOG module, a wireless fogging integration designed to deliver enhanced internal protection for both residential and commercial premises.

This new module enables seamless connectivity between HKC’s control panels and third-party security fogging systems including UR FOG and Density Global, providing a fast, effective response in the event of an intruder or panic activation.

Fully compatible with the HKC 10270 control panel, RF-FOG connects via HKC’s SecureWave two-way wireless technology, ensuring reliable and encrypted communication without the need for additional wiring.

The fogging system can be programmed to activate upon detection of an Alarm, Alarm Confirm, Panic, or Panic Confirm activation from a connected HKC Intruder Alarm system. Different activation times can be set for Alarm and Panic events, offering installers and users complete flexibility in deploying the fogging system.

Designed to minimise loss and damage during a break-in, the system instantly releases a dense fog, and within 10 seconds hands or feet cannot be seen, obscuring vision and forcing intruders to flee.

This is particularly effective for protecting retail spaces, commercial premises, and high-value residential properties. Installers benefit from easy integration, while end users can take advantage of real-time control and event logging via the HKC app and cloud platform.

Paul Fitzgerald, Managing Director at HKC said: “Our solutions are trusted by security professionals around the world for their reliability and versatility and are suited to a diverse range of environments and security needs.

“We are bringing the RF-FOG module to market as a natural extension of our portfolio and new integrations. It’s a smart, flexible and highly effective way to elevate any intruder system by adding a proven physical deterrent.

“With quick installation and full remote control, RF-FOG provides peace of mind for property owners. Plus, the system is built to withstand harsh environments and ensure consistent operation for a reliable performance.”
