eneo is Invigorating its UK Presence

eneo is one of Europe’s leading providers of video surveillance products, and Daniel Lehmann has been explaining to SecurityNewsDesk why this is and why the UK is a key target market for the company.

“We’ve been building our reputation in Europe for 15 years now, and there are a number of reasons our products are so popular,” Lehmann said. “Firstly, we provide our customers a superb cost/performance ratio, making us a popular choice, and all of our products are rigorously tested to German standards and have proven quality. We undertake four stages of testing at our head quarters and all of our products come with a three year warranty.”

In addition to this, Lehmann explained that eneo has a comprehensive portfolio of products and services. This enables customers to source a complete, fully customised, video surveillance solution from one place. Much of this is possible because of eneo’s commitment to building cooperative relationships with its partners.

This level of service, high quality products and strong reputation in Europe has facilitated the company’s expansion into new regions, including the Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Currently, eneo is investing in invigorating its presence in the UK.

“We are making an effort to re-launch ourselves in the UK at the moment,” said Lehmann. “Our activities in the region have been quiet for a while now, so we have recruited a new Business Development Manager for the UK and Ireland – Andrew Marsh. The UK is a very important market for eneo, and having an experienced Business Development Manager in the region will enable us to take advantage of the many opportunities in this continually developing market.”

Andrew Marsh has been with the CCTV industry for 24 years, having worked for both manufacturers and, more recently, CCTV distributors. From his experience as a sales manager, Andrew is particularly familiar with the eneo portfolio and has a solid background in IP video technology, which makes him especially qualified for promoting eneo solutions for the migration from analogue to digital video security.

Lehmann explained that the transition from analogue to IP is driving growth in the UK market and he said eneo is ideally positioned to meet the increasing need for change. He told SecurityNewsDesk that eneo products and services provide the answer for the large number of users who have yet to make the move to IP.

“There is a great need in the UK market for a viable solution to manage the change to IP,” he said. “The rate of change means that this solution also calls for appropriate technical support. eneo are keen to provide the appropriate products and services to bridge the gap.

“We’ve also put a lot of effort into developing a range of products that make life easier for installers. All of our rigorously tested products have been designed with a true ‘plug-and-play’ philosophy in mind, which has manifested itself in products like our plug-and-play bullet and dome IP cameras.”

Lehmann went on to explain that eneo provides whole solutions for customers and the company delivers a unique service level from its technical support team. All of this combines to deliver a service that ensures all eneo customers get true value for their investment.

The proof of this is clear in the number of high profile organisations benefitting from eneo solutions, including Commerce Bank in Germany, the Salzburg Museum in Austria, the Olympic Stadium in Belgium and Rotterdam Metro in the Netherlands. eneo cameras have also made bicycle theft a thing of the past at the Nell Breuning School in Rödermark, secured a state-owned company headquarters in Ankara, helped safeguard German Vodafone stores, and provided a range of video surveillance solutions for the finance sector and stadiums around the world.

“eneo may not be a leader in the field of technology advancement, but we offer a remarkable and well rounded service that is competitively priced and has proven itself in an assortment of vertical markets,” Lehmann said.

eneo’s commitment to growth is clear, and there’s little doubt that its renewed vigour in the UK will see the company prove itself in the regions video surveillance market.

Be on the look out for eneo’s new range of network video recorders and entry-level IP cameras, which were introduced at Security Essen in September.
