Michelle Kradolfer Brings Expertise in Cybercrime and IoT

The Security Buyer Awards are proud to announce the addition of Michelle Kradolfer, Design National Manager and IoT Technical Officer at Secured by Design, to our panel of judges. With a comprehensive background in criminology, cybercrime, and IoT security, her expertise is set to enrich the judging process of these prestigious awards.

Michelle Kradolfer’s career trajectory is marked by significant academic and professional achievements in the fields of cyber security and crime prevention. Her Masters in Criminology and internship at INTERPOL laid the foundation for her profound understanding of global cybercrime impacts. Further enhancing her expertise, Michelle completed an MSc in Cybercrime and Digital Investigation with distinction and became a CipherTrace Certified Examiner (CTCE) specializing in blockchain forensics.

At Secured by Design (SBD), Michelle’s role involves working closely with government bodies to integrate crime prevention into the planning and construction process, a vital aspect of creating safer communities. SBD’s impact is evident in the significant reduction of crimes in areas where these standards have been implemented, particularly in social housing and high-crime regions.

Michelle’s participation in the Security Buyer Awards is particularly significant as SBD celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2024. Her experience in accrediting security products and services to the rigorous Police Preferred Specification standards will provide invaluable insights to the judging process.

Regarding her role at the Security Buyer Awards, Michelle said, “We’re delighted to be part of the esteemed judging panel at the Security Buyer and Fire awards and look forward to reviewing the innovative and excellent work which has been undertaken by those nominated.”

The Security Buyer Awards recognize and celebrate the efforts of individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the security and fire safety industries. With the entry deadline set for April 8th, 2024, participants are encouraged to submit their applications soon. Shortlisted candidates will be announced in late April, and the winners will be celebrated at the main event, scheduled for May 15-16, 2024.

Join us in acknowledging the innovation, excellence, and dedication within the security and fire safety industries at this prestigious event.
