Nittan’s collection of technical guidance videos now available on YouTube

Manufacturer of conventional and addressable fire detection products, Nittan Europe has released seven new Technical Guidance videos on its YouTube channel, “NittanChannel”.  These follow on the back of its previous highly successful videos, which form part of Nittan’s customer experience, enabling them to connect with customers via different mediums.

Presented by Nittan’s Product Support Manager, Barry Sargent, the new collection of informative videos addresses frequently asked questions relating to the recently launched Nittan evolution1 Fire Alarm Control Panel. These include the panel’s quick start option; set up; navigation; Cause & Effect programming; PC configuration Tool overview and PC configuration Tool Cause & Effect, in addition to Nittan Evolution Loop Calculator.

The videos provide simple step by step instructions that aim to serve as a guide or memory jogger for engineers to very easily get the most out of Nittan products.

Lee James, General Manager – Product Marketing at Nittan Europe, said, “This easy to digest short video format with clips between 2-4 minutes has proved very popular with our customers. We are providing quick bursts of information in an easy to assimilate way. Our customers now have easy access to technical guidance on site or in their office with video clips literally at their fingertips via smartphones and tablets.  We aim to continue building our video library in the coming months, however these video clips are a guide only and not intended to replace official manufacturer training which Nittan continue to provide free of charge at our Old Woking offices.”

The new technical guidance videos are available to watch on Nittan Europe’s YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/NittanChannel/videos. Also available on the channel are existing videos about Nittan’s Dual Optical Detector and how to use EV-AD2-EXT Evolution Programmer, among others.

For more detailed support on all of its products Nittan has a dedicated Technical Support Line available during normal UK working hours – +44 (0)1483 541169 and +44 (0) 7511 047039, plus email – [email protected].

The Nittan Group has been at the forefront of the international fire protection industry since 1954 and has sales, R&D and manufacturing bases in four countries, including the UK. The company continuously innovates and strives for exceptional quality products that meet the highest standards.
