Paxton Has Successful First Year at Security Essen 2014

Hundreds of international security professionals visited Paxton’s stand in its first year of exhibiting at Security Essen 2014 in Germany.

Paxton, which provides electronic IP access control and door entry solutions, showcased its innovative and intelligent product range at the show, including its award-winning Net2 access control range.

As part of its commitment to engaging effectively with the international market place, Paxton decided to take its own stand at Security Essen for the first time, allowing existing and prospective delegates the opportunity to learn about its installer-focused product range, integration partners and discuss current trends in the security market place.

Adam Stroud, Chief Executive of the Paxton Group, said:

“We were pleased that so many of the show’s visitors already knew Paxton. It shows that the word is out about who we are and the response to the product offerings was fantastic.

“Our stand was positioned alongside a number of the major global brands in the security industry which reinforced our position in the market.

“Visitors commented on the simplicity of the systems, the training and the support, which help to ensure that Paxton’s name is at the forefront of installer’s minds.”

Demonstrations and trials of Paxton’s product range were available, allowing visitors to gain insight into access control and the features Paxton offer, including high security, ease of management and building efficiency.

One of the key themes discussed at the international event was IP, and delegates were keen to discuss how Paxton has developed its products with this technology in mind.

Adam Stroud, said:

“Paxton’s products have been IP based for the past 15 years, so we are experts in this field.

“The security industry is increasingly demanding more of this technology, as it is easy to use, provides a cost effective solution and can be managed from a central point rather than from multiple areas around the building.

“In Germany the leading technology for a security system is based upon the insurance requirements for a building. This means that intruder and fire tend to be key. However, as IP technology allows for such ease of integration, we see that access control and other aspects become intrinsic part of the system.

“Installers increasingly demand and expect more from manufacturers. They want to be able to offer their customers a simple solution that can operate all aspects of their security from one platform, we are able to provide the perfect solution for this with our Net2 range.

“At Paxton we listen to what our customers want – our installers help and influence how we develop our products, providing solutions that are flexible and are right for the market.”
