Product Spotlight – Gallagher’s OneLink

Gallagher Security presents, OneLink – the product that is elevating remote security through the power of the cloud

Securing remote and hard-to-reach sites, while maintaining enterprise grade-security, has long been a challenge for security teams— complex IT configurations, expensive infrastructure, and limited capabilities have often made it impractical or impossible. Gallagher Security’s game-changing innovation, OneLink, changes that narrative entirely — bringing the full power of enterprise-grade security to hard-to-reach sites.

Powering up the hard-to-reach

OneLink is built for organisations that need to secure more than just head offices. From city parks to power substations, construction sites to nationwide retail stores – if there’s a need for security, OneLink will deliver it.

Take local governments and councils with infrastructure scattered across towns, like public restrooms, telecommunication cabinets and traffic signals. Security is critical, but deployment has always been difficult. Now, councils can deploy Gallagher Controllers wherever they’re needed and manage them all centrally from their Security Operations Centre.

The benefits are just as clear in critical infrastructure. “Remote sites like water treatment plants, power substations, and renewable energy farms are now easily within reach,” says Logan, Product Marketing Manager at Gallagher Security “OneLink makes it effortless to roll out powerful security to locations that used to be out of scope.”

In construction and mining, where mobility and speed are everything, OneLink’s wireless, cloud-based approach means sites can be secured in hours – not weeks. Access control can be spun up quickly, and operations can begin without waiting on IT. And for multi-site enterprises, from banks to fast food chains, OneLink centralises a view of security across all sites, reducing operating costs while enhancing consistency and compliance.

OneLink makes Gallagher’s Security platform, Command Centre, available – anywhere in the world.

“Traditionally, integrating a remote site into a central system meant setting up a VPN or extending the corporate network,” explains Logan “That introduced high costs, long timelines, and significant IT overheads. With OneLink, we’re offering a simple, cloud-based alternative.”

By using 4G/5G wireless connectivity, OneLink enables Gallagher Controller 7000’s to connect directly to Command Centre via the cloud – no VPNs, no extending the corporate network, no limitations. It’s a plug-and-play approach to security deployment, ideal for locations that were previously too hard or too costly to secure.

Beyond access control

While OneLink simplifies deployment, its real power lies in what it unlocks.

“This isn’t just about access control,” says Logan, “This is about giving every remote location access to Command Centre’s full capabilities.”

That means real-time monitoring, remote automation, intelligent event response, and more. For example, city councils can reduce energy costs by using Command Centre to schedule or remotely trigger floodlights to turn off in parks.

With OneLink, every location, no matter how remote, becomes part of the same high-performing ecosystem. For organisations seeking to do more with less, that’s a compelling offer.

The future of remote security is here. With OneLink, it’s simpler, faster, and more powerful than ever before.
