Promise Technology takes video surveillance training to Egypt

Promise Technology, the developer of the open storage platform for video surveillance, wrapped up its latest video surveillance training course having certified 38 security professionals in Cairo, Egypt.

The new Promise Certified Professionals now have the knowledge to install, configure, manage and design surveillance solutions with Promise’s award-winning line of NVR storage servers and external storage. Along with its distribution partner Global Technology Solutions (GTechS), Promise was joined by Milestone Systems who shared key insight on how the company’s XProtect Video Management Software works seamlessly with Promise’s product line. Over the last three months. Promise has now certified over 200 engineers throughout the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.

“The enthusiasm and passion at the training in Cairo was absolutely incredible and we are very thankful to everyone who joined and brought so much energy,” said John van den Elzen, General Manager, Surveillance Business Unit, Promise Technology.

“Promise believes strongly in working together with our partners, like Milestone, to educate the market so the best performing solutions can be designed for customers in every video surveillance environment. The training was a great success and we look forward to working more closely with all of the Promise Certified Professionals in the future.”
