Prysm Software has today announced the integration of the HID Edge Host door access controller with its AppVision access control module. This development is now available for new OEM partners to use.
This adds yet another access control system to an ever growing list of supported systems.
AppVision can be used as the access control management tool in conjunction with HID Edge Host in order to define access zone rights, time schedules, visitors badges, photo id as well as to write to the smartcard and print the badge using a standard access control printer.
This represents a major opportunity for security companies who seek to rebrand a leading access control product with an off the shelf software product. Edge Host and the AppVision OEM can be added to a company’s product portfolio ready to deploy and with very little up front investment required.
