The system supports three fingerprint categories. Master fingers manage users and system settings. User fingers open and close the safe. In addition, multiple alarm fingers can be defined. They trigger a silent alarm in dangerous situations and integrate biometrics directly into comprehensive security concepts.
Self-learning software continuously improves recognition accuracy and flexibly adapts to changing finger conditions. The tamper-proof sensor prevents fingerprint traces and makes it extremely difficult to forge prints. All stored data remains secure even in the event of a power failure. For authentication, the system uses only characteristic features of the fingerprint, known as minutiae. These do not allow reconstruction of the original print and therefore guarantee both security and data protection.
The system can store up to 100 fingerprints, making it suitable for private users as well as professional environments with many users. The FINKEY app expands functionality with mobile management. User profiles can be created or modified and access rights conveniently controlled via smartphone. It is the ideal addition for larger organizations and has already proven its practical value.
