Sony claims they will showcase “the future of security” at IFSEC 2013 in Birmingham, with a new line-up of HD security products and services.
The firm have announced intentions for a series of ‘exciting developments’ to be showcased on their stand at May’s show at the NEC.
Sony’s Generation 6 (G6) range is set to play a major role in their showings at IFSEC 2013. The G6 incorporates Sony’s IPELA Engine and features advancements in low-light performance and wide dynamic range.
The electronics giant is planning to build on momentum seen in 2012, courtesy of the award-winning IPELA Engine, the first IPELA Engine video security cameras and the G6 range, with further developments to be unveiled at IFSEC 2013.
Ryan Kawashima, Strategic Marketing Manager for Sony Europe, said: “Sony is coming back to Birmingham with a bang. IFSEC is always a great event and 2013 will be no exception.
“With the G6 continuing to lead the industry we’re confident customers will see considerable value in the developments we’ll be revealing.
“It’s also a fantastic opportunity for us to speak face-to-face with our customers and discuss the challenges they are facing, so please do visit us at booth 4/J10, to see the future of security for yourself.”
Sony also revealed a new warranty for all video security products purchased since April 1, increasing from one to three years, and replacement service in the case of an issue not able to be resolved by the PrimeSupport Helpdesk.
The new same-day despatch replacement service is being offered to all resellers as part of the Video Security Partner Programme.
