TDSi enjoys increased visitors at IFSEC 2014

TDSiIntegrated security manufacturer TDSi attracted visitors with its powerful integrated security solutions and a new range of readers at the IFSEC International 2014 security show – resulting in higher numbers of visitors per day over previous years. The event, which made its debut at its new ExCel London venue this year, also offered TDSi the opportunity to engage with more customers and partners, and gave a clear snapshot of the latest market drivers in the security sector.

IFSEC International attracts members of the security sector from across the world and is a key date in the industry’s calendar, showcasing the latest technology and services. Reflecting on this year’s impressive visiting figures, TDSi’s Marketing Manager, Sarah Phillips commented, “IFSEC International is always a key event for us, but with the change of venue from Birmingham to London this year expectations were high. Our results showed that not only were numbers of visitors to our stand up per day, but we also gained a lot of valuable leads and general interest from visitors. The event was also an excellent opportunity to meet up with our current and potential partners, along with end users.

As well as exhibiting at IFSEC International 2014, TDSi also took the opportunity to view other products and services on show and to assess the pervasive trends. TDSi’s Managing Director, John Davies added, “It was good to see that security integration really has come to the forefront of our industry as it offers impressive flexibility and value for money for clients. We feel we have always been very good at listening to customers but we are always keen to gain an overall snapshot of what our client base think and what they want. We have an agile business model, changing and adapting to meet the needs of the market and this is why we have been working with our customers and partners to ensure we always provide relevant and useful solutions for their needs. Overall the show was a great indication that the UK and wider economies are growing and thriving again, which is something that TDSi has definitely been enjoying for a number of years now.”

On its own stand, TDSi was focused on promoting and educating visitors to the benefits of its integrated systems; including a demonstration of its latest EXgarde PRO 4.3 integrated security software solution, which now includes full integration with industry leaders such as Texecom, Aperio, Milestone and Microsoft Active Directory. TDSi’s stand was also part of the ‘Harmony Village’ group of exhibitors, with neighbouring fellow members of the Harmony Alliance including Texecom, GJD, Elmdene and Advanced LED Technology and a refreshment area sponsored by TDSi’s distribution partner Midwich. With the strong bonds of integration and compatibility between all the Harmony Alliance partners, the united message was firmly focused on offering end users precisely the solutions and flexibility they could want or need.

The TDSi team was also able to meet with many partners and installers to explain how the TDSi channel partner programme can help them to grow their business. The programme offers dedicated technical and sales support to be able to offer the highest levels of customer service. Strong working partnerships are the lifeblood of TDSi’s business and the company offers dedicated support in terms of tendering assistance, special pricing, enhanced services and technical support.

TDSi also took the opportunity to meet up with its UK distribution partners who are equally vital in TDSi’s channel based selling model and have aided greatly in the growth strategy over the last year in particular.

As an accolade to his and TDSi’s relevance to the security industry, TDSi’s Managing Director John Davies was recognised as one of the ‘Top 40 Most Important Influential People in Security’ which was announced live during IFSEC International 2014. The list recognises the influence and efforts by individuals and their respective organisations in promoting, improving and growing not only their own business but also in helping to shape the security sector as a whole.

TDSi also participated in a number of presentations throughout the show including ‘Functionality, reliability, performance: security solutions for smarter buildings’ which was co-hosted by John Davies with fellow Harmony Alliance members and ‘UK Security on the World Stage: advice for exporters’ which John co-hosted with fellow BSIA members, including the Chairman of the BSIA Export Council, Greg Stuttle of GJD.
