CNL Software partners with Maxxess for major transportation PSIM project in the UAE

CNLCNL Software, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, is pleased to announce that it has completed the integration of IPSecurityCenterTM PSIM with eFusion from Maxxess Systems, a leader in highly integrated access control systems. The two companies have been collaborating on a major transportation project in the UAE to deliver integrated security for the protection of travellers, staff and infrastructure.

Maxxess Systems security solutions scale from traditional access control to sophisticated state-of-the-art solutions that provide business and government with the very highest-level of access control management. Ranging from systems for small and medium businesses to large campus installations managing hundreds of access points and more than one hundred thousand identities, all of Maxxess’ solutions are built on an open and framework architecture. Maxxess has also pioneered the use of smartphones and wireless tablets in security systems. Smartphones and tablets now provide the most flexible information sources for security and allow security systems to do more than just control of access. These new security systems can cover each individual in the organisation – anywhere, anytime.

The integration, formalised under the CNL Software Technology Alliance Program (TAP), was driven by the security project at a major transportation organisation in the UAE. The incorporation of eFusion within IPSecurityCenter PSIM allows all access control information to be analyzed in conjunction with data from other connected systems; providing complete situation intelligence at this transportation hub.

“This integration with IPSecurityCenter will enable access control data from restricted areas around the site to be combined with data from security systems. This is invaluable to customers who are able to link access control records with alerts, alarms and video; enabling faster and more effective responses in the event of a security breach”, explains Lee Copland, Managing Director EMEA at Maxxess Systems Europe Ltd. “Maxxess and CNL Software are both committed to providing the highest degree of security and control for end users from single site implementations to the largest, multi-site solutions and we look forward to working together on more projects.”

“The integration between IPSecurityCenter PSIM and Maxxess is part of a comprehensive situational intelligence solution which will optimize the security of infrastructure, facilities and assets and ensure the continued safety of passengers and staff”, says Daniel Bloodworth, Technical Sales Manager ME at CNL Software. “Our work with technology partners is key to developing intelligent management solutions for all aspects of security within our customers; from supporting security staff in their day-to-day functions and running processes to maintaining infrastructure.”

CNL Software will be exhibiting at Intersec 2014, in the DICEC – Dubai, from January 19-21, 2014.
