Global integrated security solutions provider, RISCO Group, was awarded the ‘Intruder Alarm Product of the Year 2014’ for its LightSYS™2 professional hybrid security system, at last week’s PSI Premier Awards.
Designed with installers in mind, LightSYS2 is a professional hybrid system that offers flexibility with advanced IP and GSM/GPRS or STU adaptor communication. It can be installed wired, wireless, or with Risco Bus detectors, and benefits from a self-monitoring smartphone app (also available via web browser) which enables users to control their alarm systems remotely.
A much sought after accolade, the PSi Premier Awards winners are chosen by those at the sharp-end of the security industry, namely those who purchase and install security equipment. Over the last two months, PSi magazine asked its readers to tell them which of the technologies they have installed or read about in the last year that have given the best results. Readers then voted on their nominated product by its features, benefits, ease of installation and best support service.
