Media Production Apprentice success at Security Media Publishing

IT and Media Production Apprentice, Sam Copper, completes qualifications and secures position at Security Media Publishing.

A year ago Sam Copper started his advanced apprenticeship for IT, software, web and telecoms professionals through the apprenticeship provider, 3AAA, with the aim of gaining a BTEC Level 4 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals and a Level 4 Diploma for ICT professionals in systems and principles.

Security Media Publishing, a leading provider of marketing services for the security industry, needed a new apprentice to support their web based electronic production and news outputs. It was in this that Sam joined the team, and thanks to his hard work and dedication has been successful in both his role and studies. He has now completed his apprenticeship and is soon to gain his qualifications.

Philip Ingram, Managing Director of Security Media Publishing, said:

“In the past year I have had the pleasure of watching Sam develop not just in the work place but as an individual to a point where he is contributing greatly to the continued success of Security Media Publishing. He has added real value which is a credit to the apprenticeship scheme but more so a credit to the hard work and dedication he has shown throughout the past year. Because of this, I was very happy to offer him the role of Media Production Technician.”

Commenting on his new position, Sam said:

“I am very happy to have been taken on by Security Media Publishing. I am looking forward to contributing further to the company’s websites and developing my knowledge of code.”
