Panasonic Marketing Middle East showcases secure IoT
Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa (PMMAF) will showcase its latest line-up of security solutions at Intersec Dubai on 17-19 January, 2016. Through its work with Symantec, the global leader in cyber security, Panasonic will demonstrate Secure Communication, which provides PC-level security for its video surveillance cameras and other embedded devices to protect against false data, tampering of images and stealing passwords of protected surveillance communications.
Mr. Yasuo Yamasaki – Director & Divisional Head, Systems Solutions & Communications Division, PMMAF said:
“Panasonic recognises that secure management of data in video surveillance solutions is becoming increasingly important today and in the future, due to various cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities that continue to occur, such as hacking, data breaches and tampering.”
He added:
“Our association with Symantec will bring the latest security solutions to display at the show for the visitors and will meet the increased security concerns”.
Through this relationship, Panasonic will combine Symantec’s scalable and reliable Device Certificate solution to perform trusted device authentication and prevent unauthorised access of gray market or compromised devices to the systems and network, with its own in-house embedded cryptography technology to provide a highly secure and robust protection layer for its embedded surveillance products.
Aiming to meet the demand of the growing security industry in the region, this year, PMMAF is showcasing its extensive product range of security solutions that cover a wide variety of domains including public premises, retail and mall facilities, banks, airport, buildings, transportation industry, energy and education sectors.
