SSN Gulf joins the Hand Media International Family

SSN Gulf has become the latest addition to international publishing house, Hand Media International. The title will become the Middle East flagship of the company’s extensive security portfolio, which also includes International Security Buyer, Security News Desk and Security News Desk Americas.

The move will see SSN Gulf merged with securitymiddleeast.com. This will provide major advantages to the regional security community as they will now have an all-encompassing platform dedicated to the latest news.

In addition to this, SSN Gulf will form the cornerstone of a new addition to Hand Media’s print catalogue, Security News Desk Middle East. This joins the industry leading newspapers, Security News Desk and Security News Desk Americas, to provide a regional perspective on the global security industry.

“I am delighted to add SSN Gulf to our already world-class line-up of security titles,” said David Rossiter, Managing Director of Hand Media International. “The Middle East has never been more important to the security industry and with securitymiddleeast.com and Security News Desk Middle East we will be at the forefront of this sector, providing a voice for the local industry.”

Following the acquisition, the brands will remain editorial and video news partners for the Intersec show and will actively seek to become aligned with more events and conferences in the region.

“This is an exciting move, and one that will only benefit the loyal readership of SSN Gulf,” added Emma Procter, who has moved to Hand Media with the titles. “I feel this will provide a major advantage to our existing audience and gives us the chance to expand our reach to the entire security sector right across the region. This will increase our editorial and commercial footprint across the Middle East.
